The Diploma in De-addiction and Substance Use Counselling is a 6-month program on understanding addiction and helping people recover. Who can apply for the Diploma in De-addiction and Substance Use Counselling?

You need a background in psychology or medicine. A previous course with at least one psychology subject counts, and so do healthcare qualifications such as nursing, MBBS or Ayurveda (BAMS). Your NeoSkill counsellor will check your certificates before you apply.

How are classes and exams conducted?

The program is blended. Most of the learning is online, with study material on the ACMHANS learning platform, and there are some in-person sessions. Your counsellor will share the schedule and venue of the in-person sessions, and how exams run, before you enrol.
